Description
An 8 x 10 photograph of Thomas Pendleton's Gulf station in Dark Harbor is mounted on heavy cardboard backing along with a small tear-off calendar for the year 1947. December is the only remaining calendar page.
Inscription: "Compliments of The Village Garage Dark Harbor, Maine" in silver.
Dark Harbor is located in the southern section of Islesboro. Although it was, and still is, primarily a summer community, year round residents live in Dark Harbor as well. The building is now a private home.
